Publishing credits

Aside from the novels and short stories listed elsewhere on my website, what else have I written?

I write across a few different genres and in many forms. I’ll try to keep this list up to date, and add things as I remember them, but some of my publishing credits to date include:

September 2023 – 2nd place in a Writing Magazine contest. The results of this competition haven’t been published yet, so no link.

***

August 2023 – finalist in a Globe Soup 7-day challenge. My allocated theme was Horror, which falls far beyond my comfort zone, so a Finalist credit here is immensely satisfying!

***

August 2023 – Highly Commended in Writing Magazine – I don’t have my copy yet, so I’m not even sure what for!!

***

August 2023 I actually came second! Yay! You can read the story here.

July 28 2023 Not two hours after I updated this to say long-listed.. the shortlist is out, and I’m ON THAT TOO!

July 21 2023 Currently long-listed for Flash 500! Fingers crossed!

***

July 2023 A ‘Close contender’ in my first-ever entry to Writers Playground! Yay. Here’s my tweet with some of the quotes from the feedback. The feedback and ‘almost-there’ praise gave me the push to tweak and resubmit, so the same story, slightly edited, is now awaiting further judgement in another contest.
